My name is Beth, I'm 22 and married to an amazing man (my best friend). I have very bad asthma and no insurance or money to buy the perscriptions I need. Without my medication, my day to day life is just a little more unpleasant than I would like. Over the past six months, I have had multiple upper respiratory infections, colds, ect; they were all made worse by my inability to breathe and left me unable to hold down a steady job. My car went out and so my husband began taking off work when I needed to go to the emergency room, breathing treatments, ect and because of it he was fired. Next thing you know we woke up to a letter threatening eviction if the property was not vacated within 7 days. To top everything off, we found out 3 days prior to the note that I was pregnant. We tried staying in hotels by getting family members to help us, until we find a place and new jobs, but it has been a month now and there is no one left in either of our families that can help us anymore. I am doing everything that I can but it isn't enough. Can some one please tell me if they know of some one or some organization ect that could help me and my husband in the birmingham alabama area??? We only have $150 left and only have a roof over our head for a day or two longer.
